“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Coco Chanel

Ok this is a post I had to do to clarify things.

I’m tired of hearing people telling me : “Ow! You’re wearing Jay’Z’s bracelet?!”. And I’m like oh Lord, it gonna take way to many time to explain the origins of this jewel, so, my answer is generally : “Anhan”. But now, I’ll be able to tell them to go check my blog and perhaps, you will have to do it as well if you have the same problem than me.

Shamballa bracelet is the fashion hit of this summer. Suitable for men and women and available in several colors. You can even make it match with necklaces or earrings!!

Shamballa or Shambhala means “Spiritual Awareness” and “Creation Energy”. It is said that Shamballa is in fact the chakra placed in the heart of every human being.

Shamballa bracelets named after the mythical Shambhala kingdom come from Tibet, however, there is no religious meaning behind it. What did you do in this kingdom? Well, you meditated and was taught to find the awaken wisdom source within you. A source that we can all discover, cultivate and demonstrate in our environment.

Shamballa has a power: promote your well-being! Indeed, according to Tibetans Lamas, wearing a Shamballa bracelet increases the way your body and your spirit recall the essential. If we take a look at Buddhist mythology, Shambhala or Shamballa in sanskrit means “peaceful and happy place”.

The jewel became more accessible since HipHop artists decided to put it on their wrists: Jay-Z, Lil’Wayne or Diddy… This is such a phenomenon that Vogue models, Pop artists like Justin Bieber or fashion icon designers like Karl Lagerfeld are now wearing Shamballa bracelets/earrings/necklaces.

Originally, Tibetan Shamballa bracelets were made with knotted wood beads, but nowadays, because of or thanks to the influence of HipHop artists, many prestigious brands propose variant version of the original model with high-quality materials. Thus, Dior, Swarovski and others turned the Shamaballa into a jewellery accessory with golden pearls, precious stones, etc. High profile customers have no problem buying super trendy jewels for an excessive amount of money.

Hope these few words helped!
